Collection method in its broadest sense means collection of documents and receipt of claims. In this method, there are three main parties (exporter, importer and bank). The bank acts as an intermediary for the seller to collect documents from the seller and receive payment or accept the bill of exchange from the buyer. If the collection is simple, commercial documents (such as shipping documents, goods ownership document, etc.) are directly transferred to the buyer to clear the goods from customs. In this case, according to the collection order, the bank's duty is to receive the payment or accept the bill or obtain a reliable document of indebtedness from the buyer. However, if it is a documentary collection, after receiving the payment or receiving a bill of exchange or obtaining a reassuring document from the buyer, the bank will hand over the commercial documents to the buyer to clear the goods from customs. Collection payments are subject to a series of general and certain rules in commercial law, which are called general rules, so-called principles governing the method of payment of collections, which are not allowed to be violated in any way. In this article, the collection payment method and the same governing principles are investigated with a descriptive analytical method.
